COSMEPIX was tested with pictures up to 60 Megapixels. We tried various subjects and lots of non edited pictures. But its not possible to predict all the possible results.
Here is what we learnt.

4.1. Send your pictures, the biggest size possible so you can get higher quality editing. Even if you choose low quality for saving your files, a bigger file will give you better quality at the end and better results.

4.2 Send un-edited pictures. Pictures just out of the camera are fine. Already edited pictures could be “damaged” by the system. It’s design to work on original files. If you wish to further edit your pictures, you should use these options : “PRO” or “RAW”. Only those two are designed for further editing. Using something else will alter your files if you make a further editing.

4.3. Choose photos that are not too dark or not too white, except if you are ordering a “low-key” or “high-key”. COSMEPIX’s tests were done on normally exposed pictures. Normally exposed pictures will give you best results.
br> 4.4 Double check you pictures before you send. Do not send pictures that are completely black or completely white. COSMEPIX won’t do anything on those pictures but it may slow down your experience. Furthermore those pictures may be into your final crate. You will be charged for those pictures. Cosmepix do not make any refund. So please double check what you send to us so you can enjoy our service and get a better price. Just send what you need. 4.5. Do not send pictures that are broken. Please check that you can open your photo on your computer or device. Try to open your pictures on different machines to be sure its working. Verify that your file format is compatible with COSMEPIX (see below).
We are making tests on every pictures you send, if your files have a problem it may slow down your experience.
Sending broken pictures is against our terms of use. COSMEPIX will pursue any person in justice who send bad files or who is trying to slowdown the system or to damage it.

4.6. Read our product description. When a processing just work with a specific type of photos, we mention it.

example: the “portrait” product works best with portraits.
If there is no special information, it means the product works with any type of pictures.

After you choose processing and before you can send your pictures you must select a quality for your files.

To help you, quality is represented by the “X” value. The more this value is high the more quality you will get. For best results send heavy files. Note that whatever final quality you select, if your file is heavy you will get better results.



By default the quality “ECO” comes free with our processings. It’s the minimum quality, it’s ”Low Cost”.



Depending on your needs and budget, choose the best quality for you.



-ECO = The Economic solution, Comes Free with your processing so you can try COSMEPIX at a discount price. If you want a file with a better quality please choose one on the above list.

-NORMAL = Best fot he Web, Optimum quality to enjoy your photos on the Internet. JPG with high compression



-HIGH = High Quality, Looking for a superior product? Search no more, this option delivers far superrior outputs. Low compression JPG



-MAX= Quality without compromises, for photo enthousiasts. Get the maximum out of your pictures. JPEG without compression



-MAX PRINT = Print your pictures, Choose the print option if you want to send your pictures to a Lab.

-PRO = JPEG HD

Advise for professionals. No compression at all you get +50% more quality compare to the MAX. You garantee a minimal loss or no loss at all, virtually invisible in case you share your pictures or further edit them* (if low re-compression is used).



Only our PRO and RAW options are advised for CG Professionals If you want to further retouch or edit COSMEPIX processings, we strongly advise our customers to use one of those 2 options.

No, sending pictures on Cosmepix is totally free

We strongly advise you first send a few pictures to try the service. You will see the results on a result page and you can add more pictures later on.

Before you send a large group of photos, assure that your pictures work with our service (send just one to see). Make a ZIP file or RAR file without password. Maximum wheight is 250 Mo per file.La taille maximum par fichier est de 250Mo maximum. again, this file must have NO password. Send this ZIP file as if it was a simple photo. Warning uploading times will certainly be much longer. We will be able to show you processing results AFTER this compressed file fully uploaded.
We advise only advanced user with a good, fast connection to do it.

After you send your photos, we start processing. Please allow at least one picture to be fully uploaded. When first results will be available, you will be send to a result page.



Please give a name to the photos currently processing. It will be easier to find your pictures later on. Note that watermark that display on pictures will not be on the final pictures you buy.



This page display results. You can clic on photos to see details and compare differences between original pictures and final processing. All photos into the list are considered “OK”. Clic on validate to proceed with payment and download your processings.



If you wish you can delete a result you don’t like Just drag and drop the phoyo to the trash bin. Price will go down accordingly. The same way you can move photos to the retreatment basket. Photos will be removed from the cart (you wont pay them) and you will find back thoses pictures into your customer account.

Just after you send your pictures, Cosmepix gives you a result page. This page gives you processing results in realtime. We display processed photo. To compare with the original file, clic on picture. You will get a before/ after module so you can check the differences.



At the Top right of the page we display a processing bar. When the bar says 100%, processings are done. After you check that our work is fine, clic on the validate button.

It’s customer responsablity to check processing results. If you validate results without prior checking, you are responsible fo it. COSMEPIX wil not make any refund or re-send any processing.

Processings in progress will be billed on the basis of sent MB on COSMEPIX.

You will find these results into your customer account when it will be available.COSMEPIX decline any responsability if those last processings that you did not check are not available into your account. If a picture is not available it usually means that its not compatible with our system or there was a processing error. Only a visual check that you must do garantee everything worked fine.

You are strongly advise to verify your files (open on several computers) before you send. Please check that your picture is not totally black or totally white. It is your responsability to check results before you validate. If you validate before a processing ends last pictures should be available into your customer account at the processing end.


COSMEPIX DO NOT advise to validate before processing ends. Such a move is at your own risks. Verify results, then clic on validate

After checking results you will go to the payment page (CART). Verify your order.
If you have customer account, connect. If not clic on the guest button and enter informations.

Choose payment method: Cosmepix’ Credits, advised for a quick payment
Credit card or Paypal : You will be redirected on a secured page outside cosmepix, it’s an official bank page

After you paid:
If you have no customer account download will start immediatly. Please take care if this download fails we will not resend files.
If you have a customer account you will get send to it. This solution is much easier to get your pictures.

After order is paid, rendez-vous to your customer account. Into the first section you should see the most recent pictures. Just clic on Download everything. If you just wish to download one group of photos, clic on this group then download.

COSMEPIX launch a download in the ZIP format nammed - COSMEPIX - pictures ID.zip



Unzip this file to get your pictures. Use software like 7-Zip to unzip your pictures.

To use COSMEPIX at a better price you must have customer account.



13.1. Buy credits (Credit section)

You will receive more money than you spend. You can buy credits with or without plan. Note that the longuer your plan is, the more free credits you will get. Even better, you will received free credits every months !

Example (December 2011, for more details clic on CREDITS):
Price 59.99€ with a 12 months plan: you will get 149,88€ that is to say +150% free every months (12)

At the end of period your total gain will be 1079.10€, That is more than 18 months for free !
COSMEPIX encourage your loyalty: Every subscription of 12 months get you a discount of more than 50%!



13.2. Share processing that you bought on Facebook and Twitter.



COSMEPIX gives you credits on your account. it is a pourcentage of the paid value (without Taxes and storage fees). As soon as you share your processings, you get the money on your account.

Just atfter you buy processing on COSMEPIX, go on your customer accounton the section WIN CREDITS. Select social networks and hit SHARE.

As soon as your pictures are sharred on social networks, COSMEPIX gives you the money on your account !

13.3. Share your Cosmepix link and win 50€ !.


Create a free acount on Cosmepix.
Into your customer account tab “WIN CREDITS” you will find a Cosmepix link.

When you share this link online and when your friends click on it, you win credits up to 50€
To use these credits you just have to buy something on Cosmepix, without minimum. The credits you won will go to your customer account.

Our advice: Create a free customer account.
Try Cosmepix for free on a small photo, buy it for a few cents, for example with Payal.
Share the result on Facebook to get free credits.
Return to your customer account tab > WIN CREDITS.
Share yout Cosmepix Link with your friends and Win up to 50€ without doing anything ! You will get your first photo refundud in just a couple of clicks. And you will be able to use Cosmepix for free.

Storage is an obligatory service you need it to download your pictures. You cannot remove it, but you can lower itto a minimum of 24H. COSMEPIX will remove processed pictures even if you did not have time to download them.



There will be no refund. Download is at customer responsability.



COSMEPIX advise to take at least 48h storage. We do no re send files. So the longuer your storage time the more chance you have to have succesful download. This is especially true if you have lot of files or heavy files. Consider storage service as an inssurante, so you can re do unllimited download as long as your storage time.



At the end of your storage time, your files will be deleted. Insure your investment with storage service. 

Reduce storage fees. The heavier your files are and the more fixed price of storage will go down. The longer your storage time the more cost per day go down.


COSMEPIX is a picture editing service for pros. Our main customers are professionals so our prices are without VAT.

Firms ouside France are invoiced without taxes. Companies in France or individuals are invoiced using current VAT rate: 19,6%

According to our terms of use: There is only one case when you can ask for a refund :

If you are an individual, you ordered credits less than 7 days ago and you did not start using it pay on COSMEPIX.

If you are in this special case, clic on Contact

Fill a refund form. Please take care to give your customer ID and your invoice informations. Note that if your refund request is accepted, COSMEPIX will proceed to refund up to 30 days after offical request acceptation.

At the moment we don’t have an app for that. But you can still use COSMEPIX on your smartphone:

Get credits on your customer account, connect with your smartphone and send your files. On smartphone payment can only be done with COSMEPIX credits.

You can send any image file you want on Cosmepix we support most of them and will continue to support new ones.
When you send your files to COSMEPIX you agree with our terms of service. If one file format is not support it will just be not edited.

Cosmepix is a fully automatic service created by Anstellos SARL, no one can access your pictures, We garantee a perfect confidentiality. Our teams anhance the process and monitor it. COSMEPIX system is 100% percent locked. Originals files and edited one are deleted at the end of the download time you choose, It’s technically impossible for us to recover or resend any files. Customers are responsible for any technical need to make download possible.

COSMEPIX service ends when the download link is at customer disposal. That is why we advise our customers to buy a unlimited download option of at least 48h you will have the insurance of having the time to download your files after purchase. There wiIl be no refund after this download link will get available.
